The Herefordshire Branch 

A personal view-point

[as, indeed, all previous comment has been]

 The Branch achieves the Society objectives, among other ways, as follows:

 

the promotion of a broad knowledge and understanding of both wine and food
 

  • supports national events
  •  
  • supports international events
  •   
  • above all, it arranges Branch events
     


the enhancement of their appreciation

  • an amalgam of the above  [more later]

 


the nurturing of camaraderie among those who share the pleasures of the table

 

  • Like the Society, the Branch provides plenty of tables! 


    This is carried out at the events above

  • Interesting menus at all meal occasions and interesting speakers at special events [see last line]

  • Time at the events for all to converse, fork in one hand and glass in the other when there is a meal, and a Herefordshire apple to follow.


     

The way the Hereford Branch achieves its objectives led me to write "My Story" above.
