Although the last news was in 2015, the perpetual story is that this site is unmanageably cumbersome. New pages and editing of other pages are kept to a minimum.

The update for 2015 said that this site has been through a problem phase and the company behind it is looking at ways to improve it. The company can only offer a switch to a different system. That entails moving every page with no guarantee that text, images and links survive.

One aspect of not being able to edit pages normally is that links to irrelevant material become altered or just do not function. Readers kindly send in their comments and the links etc dealt with if really urgent. Keep your detective work going!

Another aspect is alterations in text size. A page containing normal text size over the years may suddenly change to microscopic or telescopic size for no apparent reason. The site provider can only say that the system used to construct this website has been replaced.

Probably the greatest problem for this website is the disappearence of my first two books Gastronomy and Are We Really What We Eat? inetext format. Talktalk called in all its similar links over two years ago.
